Ströher reduces CO2 footprint
As an energy-intensive production company, we take responsibility for climate protection and the energy transition in Germany. We have therefore committed ourselves to sustainable production in our plants. Throughout the company, we rely 100% on green electricity from alternative and renewable energy sources. A large proportion of this is generated by our own photovoltaic systems.
Certification by naturenergie hochrhein AG
Our latest certification from naturenergie hochrhein AG proves that we use green electricity. Our electricity requirements in 2023 will be covered 100% by hydropower. Compared to the German electricity mix, Ströher is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by 1,934.65 tonnes per year.
