"Our aim was to create a new, sustainable architectural range that would enable architects to design contemporary clinker brick slip facades to an individual, high-quality aesthetic. The clinker brick slips should be unique, while at the same time offering the originality and expressiveness of a brick, as well as reflecting a wide range of colours, from typical clinker tones to current colour trends. To achieve this, we have rethought the product from scratch," explains Marketing Manager René Skotarczyk. "Farbklang" and "Nuancist" are not sawn from whole bricks, but are extruded as thin clinker brick slips in a resource-saving manner and manufactured in an energy-efficient sintering fire at 1200 degrees. This saves raw materials, energy and waste, and makes these clinker brick slips a particularly sustainable building material. For the first time, coarser clay qualities and additives were used in this production process. This makes the new surfaces and the overall characteristics of the clinker brick slips particularly unique.

With “Nuancist”, Ströher is introducing a new and unique surface look in the typology of sanded clinker bricks. Based on Ströher’s successful Zeitlos products and the used-look surfaces from Riegel 50, the application technique was further developed and the characteristic sanding was refined in detail. The result is an aesthetic clinker with different surface characteristics and aging effects, which are finely graded into one another in the respective color tone and offer a lively but self-contained play of colors. Nuancist is not only based on classic clinker colors, but also takes up current color and facade trends in detail. This is how intense the color tone is: originally in the character of a classic reduction clinker with rich colors and a fiery play of colors. But with a new, independent clinker surface from Ströher. A partially slightly porous firing skin and subtle nuanced effect applications on the clinker surface combine with the color to create an intense effect.

Innovative color concept: from intensely natural to individual.

“Farbklang” and “Nuancist” start with a total of 19 colors. The defined colors are coordinated with each other, so that the colors can also be combined in the facade design.

Maximum format freedom

The clinker brick slips are manufactured on a project-specific basis. Various formats are available, from classic NF/DF to sophisticated long formats in 50 cm length. This means maximum format freedom for the design of aesthetically sophisticated facades. Further information on the new products will follow shortly.
