Commissioning of the e-charging stations at the Dillenburg site
Electromobility is the drive of the future. Therefore, vehicles with electric drives will be an integral part of the Ströher company fleet in the future. For company and pool vehicles equipped in this way, 3 e-charging stations are now available on the company premises on Ströherstrasse for the simultaneous charging of a total of 6 vehicles. Additional individual charging points will be available for e-forklifts and e-sweepers in the future.
Electric mobility in the company fleet
With the introduction of electric vehicles, the Ströher Group is expanding its measures to reduce CO₂ emissions from its company fleet.
The strategic plan includes objectives for reducing CO₂ emissions, energy and water consumption as well as waste generation throughout the company.
"As a so-called 'energy-intensive' company, we focus on the efficient use of energy and resources. That is why it is a logical step for us to further develop our company fleet and expand the use of electric vehicles as an alternative to vehicles with combustion engines. With this decision, we want to set an example and actively contribute to electric vehicles gaining even greater acceptance in everyday life and among our employees," says Managing Director Dirk Hümmer.
