If you've always wanted to know where the world's largest internet node is located, take note: Hanauer Landstraße in Frankfurt's Ostend neighbourhood. The record data traffic recorded here is an impressive 6.4 terabits per second. There could hardly be a more suitable location for the new headquarters of an agency like gkk Dialog. After all, the former pioneer of the call centre industry has developed into an expert in digital communication - and is now one of the leading dialogue marketing agencies in Germany with over 1000 employees.

The clearly gridded façade, designed with large window areas, is adorned with a traditional clinker brick look in timeless shades of grey - at least at first glance. Up close, it becomes clear that the surface is ‘progressively interpreted’, emphasises Key Account Tobias Rose, who supervised the project in Frankfurt. ‘Our ‘contour’ brick slip is given a particularly expressive, modern look through targeted accentuation, known as contouring. We combine the traditional art of clinker brick production with state-of-the-art glazing technology to create a new generation of clinker bricks. Contour‘ fascinates with textures of smooth engobes, characteristic waterstruck surfaces as well as firing and melting effects,’ he continues.
