The letter accompanying the certificate says that Ströher is making an important contribution to the environment. In conjunction with the Fraunhofer Institute for Environmental, Safety and Energy Technology, UMSICHT, the recycling activities at Ströher are examined every year. To meet the current global demand for resources would require 1.7 Earths. The goal is to manage the existing resources better, which means exploiting all the possibilities offered by environmental technologies.
